Day 1: Welcome to Tbilisi
- Arrive at Tbilisi international airport.
- Meet and greet with our representative at the pickup point at
the airport. - After check-in, the rest of the evening will be at your own leisure.
- Overnight stay will be at your hotel.
Day 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Chronicles of Georgia – Tbilisi
- Begin your journey with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Mtskheta, the former capital of Georgia and one of the oldest cities in Europe. Here, World Heritage Site, perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. Continue to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the second largest church in Georgia and the sacred burial site of Christ’s Robe. On the way, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with souvenir shops, cafes, and restaurants lining the streets. Return to Tbilisi and visit the Chronicles of Georgia, a monumental site designed by celebrated Georgian artist Zurab Tsereteli. The towering pillars narrate Georgia’s rich history, rulers, and religious scenes while offering panoramic views of Tbilisi Sea and the surrounding areas.
- The tour proceeds to explore Old Tbilisi, starting with the Metekhi Church, where King Vakhtang Gorgasali’s statue overlooks the Mtkvari River. Walk along Shardeni Street, brimming with lively cafes and restaurants, and cross the Bridge of Peace, a modern architectural marvel linking the old city to Rike Park.
- Take a cable car ride to the Narikala Fortress and visit the iconic Mother of Georgia statue, embodying the Georgian spirit with her welcoming chalice and protective sword.
- Conclude the tour at Abanotubani, known for its natural sulfur baths and stroll to the charming Leghvtakhevi waterfall.
- Return to your hotel in Tbilisi for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Tbilisi – Gudauri – Kazbegi – Tbilisi
- After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our tour by visiting Kazbegi in northeastern Georgia. Our first stop will be the Ananuri Complex, a historic residence of the Aragvi Dukes from the 16th and 17th centuries. This fortress offers stunning views of the Zhinvali Dam, one of Georgia’s primary reservoirs.
- Next, we will head to the Gudauri Panorama, a circular balcony perched on a 600-meter cliff, providing breathtaking vistas of the Caucasus Mountains.
- From there, we will continue to Kazbegi town and ascend to Gergeti, situated at an altitude of 2,170 meters above sea level beneath Mount Kazbegi (5,047 meters), Georgia’s third-highest peak.
- Here, we will take in the unique natural beauty and panoramic views of the Caucasus.
- Afterward, we will return to Tbilisi for hotel accommodation and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure
- The last day of the tour will begin with a hearty breakfast at the hotel in Tbilisi.
- After that you will be transferred to the International Airport in Tbilisi for your flight back to your home country, with memories of a wonderful journey that would last a lifetime.
