Day 01: Arrive in Tbilsi

• • Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport.
  • Meet and greet with our Satguru Travels representative at the designated pickup point.
  • Proceed for transfer to Lopota Lake and Resort for check-in. (The journey takes approximately 2 hours from the airport.)
  • Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 02: Lopota – Bodbe – Sighnaghi – Tbilisi

• • After breakfast in the hotel, we will start our tour by visiting Bodbe, which is immersed in the green forest and known for the burial site of St. Nino.
  • After that, we will head to Sighnaghi, known as the City of Love, with an amazing position perched on a lofty hilltop overlooking the snow-capped Caucasus looming in the distance across the vast Alazani Valley.
  • Its charming cobblestone streets and alleys, restored original nouveau woodwork, and detailed facades give the town a romantic mystique.
  • Soon then you will have a chance to walk over the Sighnaghi Wall, built in the 18th century. There is also a local market where you can taste and buy Georgian spices, sweets, and much more.
  • Finally, we will return to Tbilisi. Hotel accommodation and overnight stay in Tbilisi

Day 03: Tbilisi City tour & Mtskheta tour
Highlights:

• • After breakfast in the hotel, we will start our tour by visiting Old Tbilisi
  • First, we will visit Metekhi, where the statue of the city’s royal founder, Vakhtang Gorgasali, overlooks the Mtkvari River and Meidan Bazaar. Soon after, we will stroll through Shardeni Street, full of colorful cafes and restaurants.
  • Later, we will walk across the contemporary Bridge of Peace that links the old part of the city to the Rike Park.
  • From the park we will take a cable car to Narikala Fortress and continue walking to the statue of Mother of Georgia that symbolizes our national character: the statue holds a wine chalice in one hand for guests and a sword for enemies in the other.
  • Shortly after, we will descend to Abanotubani, the district of naturally hot sulfur baths.
  • Later, we will walk to Leghvtakhevi, with a beautiful waterfall. Then, we will visit Tbilisi (Juma) Mosque, which is unique for the fact that Sunnis and Shias can pray together.
  • Later, we will drive to Rustaveli Avenue – Main Street in Tbilisi. There are numerous governmental, public, cultural, and business buildings near the avenue.

Day 04: Tbilisi – Gudauri – Kazbegi – Tbilisi

• • After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our tour by visiting Kazbegi in northeastern Georgia.
  • Our first stop will be the Ananuri Complex, a historic residence of the Aragvi Dukes from the 16th and 17th centuries. This fortress offers stunning views of the Zhinvali Dam, one of Georgia’s primary reservoirs.
  • Next, we will head to the Gudauri Panorama, a circular balcony perched on a 600-meter cliff, providing breathtaking vistas of the Caucasus Mountains.
  • From there, we will continue to Kazbegi town and ascend to Gergeti, situated at an altitude of 2,170 meters above sea level beneath Mount Kazbegi (5,047 meters), Georgia’s third-highest peak.
  • Here, we will take in the unique natural beauty and panoramic views of the Caucasus.
  • Back to the city for overnight at the hotel

Day 05: Departure

• • The final day of the tour will begin with a breakfast at the hotel.
  • Post this you will be transferred to the International Airport in Tbilisi for your flight back to your home country, with memories of a wonderful journey that would last a lifetime.
